How Zensational Creations' Web Design Process Works
My mission is to create a well written, artfully designed user-friendly web site that introduces your unique commerce, flaunts your expertise, and enhances your credibility as a business entity. I will thoroughly research your business requirements and plan a strategy to create the ideal web solution. Zensational Creations is located in Charleston, South Carolina and currently, I (Lynn Henderson) am the sole proprietor! However, I do collaborate with Q & A Services and together; there are few projects that we cannot handle. We do it all! We work with large and small businesses, corporations, professionals, home business owners, startups and even individuals. Zensational Creations is a small company - but still extremely personal and professional! Clients can rest assured that I am their one point contact. Throughout the process I will be by your side to facilitate an incredible web presence. We are seasoned specialists offering the highest quality services to meet your needs, while remaining very affordable. A free consultation is the first step toward determining your needs. At that point I will begin to compile all of the pertinent information needed and generate a detailed development plan. This step is very important to me because I am committed to providing you with solutions that will work for you, no ego here!
If you are ready to move forward after your free consultation, I will generate and submit a proposal to you for review. Now it's time to schedule a meeting or telephone conference to discuss the proposal, timelines, etc. I think it is imperative that we speak directly with each other at this stage in order to cultivate a dialog that will ensure bringing your vision to life. Please feel free to ask for clarification, ask questions, or state any concerns whatsoever. Communication is key to a successful project and can prevent lag in productivity, false expectations, etc. As soon as the paperwork is signed and mailed or delivered to Zensational Creations, I start the actual design process.
Given the complexity of project management, I prefer that design content be collected via email and in some cases, delivered to Zensational Creations via CD. Documentation of project details creates a smooth transfer of communication and will diminish the probabilities of misunderstandings. The same system works with "most" discussions regarding content. An email or chat transcript gives both parties written proof of conversation. Of course, you can always reach me on the telephone whenever necessary. See content guidelines for further details.
Payment in full is due on the day your contract is signed. Payment plans are available when needed; 50% of the contract balanced is required before work begins. Payment plans are not available on web hosting, SEO and smaller packages.
Major credit cards are accepted including Visa, Master Card, Discover. We also accept Paypal, Checks, Money Orders, Western Union and even the American dollar.
Web design costs are a one-time fee. Keep in mind that webmaster service, local search visibility and SEO can be included in your contract.
Choosing to host through Zensational Creations is a BIG advantage for you. You don't have to worry about the technical aspects of managing your hosting account and the servers; it's all done for you. Plus you have a one-point contact for your web presence. If there is a problem it is always better to call a single reliable company who can take care of everything, right here in the United States, while you concentrate on your business. We will make your web site one less worry for you. We partner with a world leader in secure web hosting, Network Solutions. All sites include custom email accounts with a control panel to check your web visitor statistics.
Please be prepared to provide information such as, web sites you really like, colors that you prefer and links to your competitors web sites. This is most helpful when creating your development plan. I am usually able to present a web link to preview a mockup of your web site within 48-72 hours. As soon as you approve the mockup, I begin to integrate your content and prepare for a pre-launch. The pre-launch gives you the opportunity to critique every detail and submit any change that you may want prior to going live.
Zensational Creations partners with Network Solutions to register your domain name and host your web site. You never have to worry about technical aspects of your web site! Not only will I schedule your site for regular reviews and maintenance, I am available for phone support during business hours: 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST - Monday to Friday and 10:00 AM to 4:00PM EST on Saturdays.
Some sites can be launched in a week, while others may take 90 days or longer. It's almost impossible to define turn around time; it simply varies depending upon the site size, complexities, and many other aspects of development. However, because I am extremely organized and disciplined, and have had no rare emergency situations to take precedence, I have, so far, been able to meet every deadline set by myself and my clients. My "tentative dates" for delivery have been right on target, so I can give you a very good general idea of when to expect your site to be ready for launch. Yet another advantage of working with an individual, I work on one design at a time!
You can use your existing web site address and host with Zensational Creations. I will help you retain your old domain name and transfer it to our servers or register a new one for you.
If you are interested in managing your site, I can customize a plan to walk you through step by step. You can easily manage by letting me know that you want an editable non-flash web site before you sign up. I also offer a Webmaster service, if you'd like for me to manage your new site for you. This is pre-paid service.
If your location is different than Charleston, South Carolina, as is the case with most of my clients, that is not a problem whatsoever. We work with all types of clients including large and small businesses and locations across the nation. We will communicate via telephone, live chat, and/or email, and you will get top-notch service, regardless of whether we ever meet or not. After all, the communication between us, will be exactly the same medium in which you will be using to collaborate with your clients when your site goes live!
I can also design brochures, business cards and all your stationary to go with your web site. Your professional identity is of the utmost importance! If you need a logo, I can design excellent logos starting at $200. Ask me about a package discount!
Getting your site listed in with as many search engines as possible is as important as building your site. A web site that cannot be found via search engines are of very little value. Zensational Creations offers a Web Marketing Service (Search Engine Optimization) for $800 per year to help you list in major search engines that will organically link you to most all search engines. We will discuss this in detail!
